Installing Software
This is just a reminder that you cannot install software without a teachers permission. This has become a major problem with Skype. I suggest if you have it to remove it ASAP.

Games!
Note from Administration, Tech Team, and Parents (But mainly Tech Team, cuz we're awesome like that):
Games (Minecraft, Tetris, any and all other Flash or online games) played on school computers are only to be used when all homework is done and you have nothing else to do. The right to play games could very easily be taken away and we all would suffer. So, in other words, use your time wisely, or lose to ability to waste your free time. That is all.

Presentation softwares
We've noticed around the school that people are needing some good presentation softwares/websites besides Powerpoint, so here you go.

I will be updating them throughout time that I find them.
E-Books
Wouldn't it be awesome if you could read your books on your computer? Well using an app through google chrome you would be able to get books from Amazon and read them in the cloud reader app. First you need to go to the Chrome Web Store and search for Kindle Cloud Reader. Then you click add to chrome. It will add it to your chrome. You can now sign into your Amazon account and access all
your E-Books.

Online Planner
This post is going to talk about possible programs to use as a planner. Links to all online ones will be posted at the bottom. There are many different things you are able to use as a planner.
There is iCal installed on your MacBook. This is nice because it will send you alerts when you need to do things. You can put your tests you have in a week and set a reminder for the night or two before to study.
Google has a calendar that does the same thing. You put in your task to do, then you can set it to send you an email or a text message when you need things done. Everything you can do in iCal is most likely on Google Calendar.
An online planner. This would solve the problem of "oh i left my planner at school". Here I will talk about different online planner.
My Study Life is another one. You can put in your classes, when they are, and how long they are. Then you can put in your assignments, when they are due, and what class they are. You can have a different tab for exams.
Whatever planner you decide on keep yourself organized and on time.
